The 33rd Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival taking place October 18-26, 2024, in Arkansas will kick off with Marah Strauch and Bryce Leavitt’s Space Cowboy that takes a thrilling look at the life of legendary skydiver and cinematographer Joe Jennings. Marah Strauch, and Bryce Leavitt’s Space Cowboy Directors Marah Strauch and Bryce Leavitt, along with the film’s main protagonist Joe Jennings, will be present for the Opening Night Gala.
The 2024 DocLands Documentary Film Festival taking place Thursday, May 2 – Sunday, May 5, 2024, unveiled the lineup of films including world premieres of From Here/From There (De Aquí/De Allá), I Hope This Helps!, Make A Circle, and Not Just A Goof, alongside the North American Premiere of Living with Wolves and the US premieres of 500 Days in The Wild and Hunt for the Oldest DNA.
The 39th edition of Santa Barbara International Film will run February 7 to 17, 2024 showcasing 45 world premieres and 77 U.S. premieres from 48 countries.
Documentary films on mountain climber Lhakpa Sherpa, Japan’s reality TV star Nasubi, Ukraine’s foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba, Indigenous activist Layla Staats, historian Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, and Canadian icon Mr. Dressup are among the 2023 selection for the Toronto International Film Festival’s TIFF Docs program featuring 22 titles from 12 countries around the world.
