Andrew Haigh’s ‘All of Us Strangers’ Wins Best British Independent Film at British Independent Film Awards
All of Us Strangers directed by Andrew Haigh Andrew Haigh’s All of Us Strangers starring Andrew Scott walked away with the award for Best British Independent Film at the 2023 British Independent Film Awards (BIFA). Haigh also won the awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay. Two winners were announced for Best Supporting Performance with Paul Mescal winning one of those awards for his role in the film. In total, All of Us Strangers won 7 awards including the previously announced craft awards Best Cinematography for Jamie D. Ramsay, Best Editing for Jonathan Alberts and Best Music Supervision for Connie Farr.

My Policeman directed by Michael Grandage The 66th BFI London Film Festival (LFF) announced the full program line-up of films, series and immersive art works from over 63 countries with 41% of the program made by female and non-binary directors/creators or co-directors/creators and 34% made by ethnically diverse directors/creators.
