At the Astra Film Awards held over the weekend, Sinners emerged as the night’s most celebrated title, winning six awards and claiming Best Motion Picture Drama.

Ryan Coogler’s vampire thriller Sinners was named Best Picture by the Pittsburgh Film Critics Association.

Sinners swept most of the major categories of the 2025 Alliance of Women Film Journalists (AWFJ) annual EDA Awards, winning seven awards including Best Film, Best Director (Ryan Coogler), Best Actor (Michael B. Jordan), and Best Supporting Actress (Wunmi Mosaku).

One Battle After Another emerged as the top film at the Boston Online Film Critics Association (BOFCA) 2025 awards, winning the awards for Best Film; Best Director and Best Screenplay for Paul Thomas Anderson; along with Best Supporting Actor for Benicio Del Toro.

Sinners dominated the Online Association of Female Film Critics (OAFFC) 2025 awards, securing multiple top wins including Best Film, and Best Acting Ensemble, along with Best Director for Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan received the award for Best Male Lead, and Wunmi Mosaku was honored with Best Supporting Female.

One Battle After Another leads the San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle (SFBAFCC) 2025 Awards for Achievement in Film, claiming the top prize for Best Picture, along with Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson.

The Southern Eastern Film Critics Association (SEFCA) announced its annual awards, lead by One Battle After Another, which claimed the number one position on the Top 10 Films of 2025 list.
