
The 48th Mill Valley Film Festival (MVFF) taking place October 2–12, 2025 revealed the full lineup of 138 films from 40 countries.

The 61st Chicago International Film Festival will open with World Premiere of Kevin Shaw’s documentary One Golden Summer, the true story behind Chicago’s Jackie Robinson West Little League team’s heartbreaking fall from grace and the subsequent road to redemption, as told by the players themselves.

The 69th BFI London Film Festival (LFF) unveiled the full program line-up of 247 features, shorts, series and immersive works from 79 countries playing over twelve days from October 8 – 19, 2025.

Father Mother Sister Brother by Jim Jarmusch has won the Golden Lion for Best Film at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. The anthology film starring Tom Waits, Adam Driver, Mayim Bialik, Charlotte Rampling, Cate Blanchett, Vicky Krieps, consists of three stories on relationships between adult children, their parents and each other.

Presented by the National Film Preserve each year over the Labor Day Weekend, the 52nd Telluride Film Festival unveiled its official program selections of over sixty feature films, short films, and revival programs.
