Cecilia Aldarondo’s LANDFALL, Doc on Puerto Rico’s Future Post-Hurricane María Premieres on PBS’ POV (TRAILER)
Landfall (credit: Pablo Alvarez-Mesa) Landfall, director Cecilia Aldarondo’s latest feature documentary, which was produced by Ines Hofmann Kanna, will premiere Monday July 12, 2021 on PBS at 10 p.m. ET and at pov.org. The film will also be available to stream for free at pov.org until August 11, 2021. Aldarondo was a 2021 Independent Spirit Award “Truer than Fiction” nominee. The award recognizes outstanding emerging talent in nonfiction film direction.

Florida Film Festival Unveils 2020 Lineup of 177 Films
Surviving Supercon – Directed by Steven Shea Florida Film Festival, which was originally scheduled for April, but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will now take place August 7-20, 2020, in Maitland and Winter Park, Florida. This year’s 29th edition of the festival will screen 177 films representing 37 countries, kicking off with the World Premiere of Surviving Supercon, directed by Steven Shea.
