Poet, playwright, writer, filmmaker, director, civil rights activist, and educator Kathleen Collins will receive the inaugural Icon Tribute posthumously during the 2021 Gotham Awards Ceremony. Nina Lorez Collins will accept the inaugural Gotham Icon Tribute on behalf of her mother.
