With director Julie Delpy in attendance to receive the Impact Award, the 42nd Miami Film Festival taking place from April 3-13, 2025, will open with her latest film, Meet the Barbarians.

The 28th Sonoma International Film Festival (SIFF) returns to wine country from March 19-23, 2025, featuring a lineup of 39 narrative features, 16 documentaries, and 38 short films from over 21 countries alongside an array of filmmakers, actors, and culinary icons.

Göteborg Film Festival will honor actress and filmmaker Julie Delpy with the Honorary Dragon Award at the premiere of Meet the Barbarians at the upcoming edition taking place January 24 to February 3, 2025.

This year’s 38th AFI FEST taking place in Los Angeles from October 23 to October 27 rounds out the slate of already announced titles with a full lineup of 158 films including September 5 directed by Tim Fehlbaum, All We Imagine As Light directed by Payal Kapadia, The Luckiest Man In America directed by Samir Oliveros (AFI Class of 2019), Zurawski V Texas from executive producers Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton and Jennifer Lawrence and directors Maisie Crow and Abbie Perrault, and Oh, Canada directed by Paul Schrader (AFI Class of 1969).

Films from directors Angelina Jolie, Jacques Audiard, Edward Berger, Gia Coppola, Mike Leigh, Morgan Neville, Walter Salles, Athina Rachel Tsangari, and Jia Zhang-Ke to name a few are among this year’s lineup of 63 films in the Gala and Special Presentations programs at the 49th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival.
