Born deaf and receiving cochlear implants as a toddler Jonas grows up in a world full of sound. His grandparents on the other hand also born deaf experienced a childhood of silence. As Jonas turns 11 he learns “Moonlight Sonata” a piece Beethoven wrote while going deaf. It is a beautiful film of love and sound in all their messy forms.
