Nise – The Heart of Madness
Nise: The Heart of Madness is a Brazilian film based on the true life story of psychiatrist, Nise Da Silveira, who refused to treat schizophrenia patients with electroshock therapy and instead used art and painting.
Winners of the awards of the 2015 Tokyo International Film Festival were announced over the weekend and the Tokyo Grand Prix Award went to Nise – The Heart of Madness, directed by Roberto Berliner.
