
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the feature films eligible for consideration in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature and International Feature Film categories for the 94th Academy Awards®.

Out on Film announced the lineup of films and events for the 34th edition of the Atlanta-based LGBTQIA+ film festival taking place September 24-October 3, 2021. The Oscar® qualifying film festival returns to theaters this year as part of its hybrid presentation.

The 23rd annual Sarasota Film Festival (SFF) announced its full line-up, including its Spotlight Section, Narrative Feature Competition, Independent Visions Competition, Documentary Feature Competition, Narrative Documentary, and Short Films. The festival will take place from April 30th to May 9th with virtual and in-person events.

The 2021 Oxford Film Festival announced the award winning films and filmmakers with Lissette Feliciano’s Women is Losers taking the prize for Best Narrative Feature; and Caren Zucker and Jon Donvan’s In a Different Key won Best Documentary Feature.

The 35th BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival unveiled the full program of 26 features and 38 free shorts LGBTIQ+ films from 23 countries, for this years virtual edition of the festival.

Oxford Film Festival announced the lineup of official selections for the 18th annual edition of the festival which will be a hybrid presentation including an open-air outdoor theater, drive-ins, and a full month of virtual screenings from March 24-28, and April 1-30.

For the first time in the festival’s history, the Inside Out LGBT Film Festival announced its juried winners on opening weekend, with the top jury prizes going to No Ordinary Man directed by Aisling Chin-Yee and Chase Joynt for Best Canadian Feature and No Hard Feelings directed by Faraz Shariat for Best First Feature.
