Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist leads the nominations for the 2024 Austin Film Critics Association with 10, including Best Director, Best Picture
For the first time in the history of the award, two films – Sean Baker’s Anora and Coralie Fargeat’s The Substance tied for the top prize of Best Film at the Online Association of Female Film Critics end of year 2024 awards.
Anora won an impressive 6 awards including Best Film at the Philadelphia Film Critics Circle 7th year-end awards, along with Best Director for Sean Baker, Best Actress and Best Breakthrough Performance for Mikey Madison and Best Ensemble.
