The Oxford Film Festival announced the dates for next year’s edition of the popular and critically-acclaimed film festival, which will take place March 24-28, 2021. The current plans for that upcoming edition of the film festival will feature a hybrid approach, including virtual and drive-in presentations, as well as the prospect of returning to theaters.
The 2020 Sun Valley Film Festival (SVFF), which had been scheduled to take place in March, but was cancelled due to Covid-19, still awarded numerous prizes and mentorship opportunities to independent filmmakers whose films were either confirmed to screen or were eligible for prizes.

The festival will open on March 18 with a special presentation of the documentary RUTH – Justice Ginsburg in Her Own Words with Oscar®-winning director and Sun Valley part-time resident, Freida Lee Mock attending, and close on March 22 with The Last Shift, director Andrew Cohn attending for Q&A following the screening.
The 20th annual Woodstock Film Festival came to a close with the annual Maverick Awards Ceremony where the top jury prizes went to Swallow, by Carlo Mirabella-Davis for Best Narrative Feature, and 17 Blocks, directed by Davy Rothbart for Best Documentary Feature. The Ultra Indie Award went to Seneca, directed by Jason Chaet.

The 55th edition of the Chicago International Film Festival will take place October 16 to 27 at the AMC River East (322 E. Illinois Street).
The Woodstock Film Festival will celebrate its landmark 20th Anniversary, from October 2 to 6, 2019 in the historic Hudson Valley towns of Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Kingston, Saugerties, and Rosendale. This year’s festival lineup will showcase more than 50 features from around the world, as well as many short films, and will include panels, live performances, and other special events.
The 5th Annual Bentonville Film Festival will open on Wednesday, May 8, with Tom Donahue’s documentary THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING, executive produced by Geena Davis, and featuring her, along with Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman, Zoe Saldana, Rosario Dawson, Cate Blanchett, and many others as it takes an incisive look into the history, empirical evidence, and systemic forces that foster gender discrimination and thus reinforce disparity in our culture.
