Christina Kallas’ NYC set indie film Paris in Harlem will open the 7th edition of Festival of Cinema NYC, returning to the Regal UA Midway and the Queens Library at Forest Hills from August 3 – August 13, 2023. The festival closes with Anna Baumgarten’s multiple award-winning drama Disfluency.
The 2023 Harlem International Film Festival (Hi) unveiled a music themed lineup of 64 films, including 35 features (14 narrative, 21 documentary), 29 shorts (20 narrative, 9 documentary), 2 television episodes, and 2 VR projects for its 18th edition – a hybrid event taking place in-person May 18-28.
Slamdance Film Festival announced the full lineup of 28 features, 79 shorts, and 7 episodes for its 28th edition hybrid festival, which returns to its original home in Park City, Utah for its physical festival January 20-23, 2022, bridged with an accessible and robust program of virtual screenings, running January 20-30, 2022.
