
The Atlanta Film Critics Circle (AFCC) announced its 7th annual awards winners, naming Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer the Best Film of 2023.

Emma Stone will be honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress, for Searchlight Pictures’ Poor Things at the Palm Springs International Film Awards. The Film Awards will take place on January 4, 2024 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with the Palm Springs International Film Festival running through January 15, 2024.

Poor Things directed by Yorgos Lanthimos won the Golden Lion for Best Film at Venice Film Festival. In the film starring Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbott, and Jerrod Carmichael, a young Victorian woman, Bella, is brought back to life by brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter.
