Wrapping up on October 20th, the 25th edition of the Woodstock Film Festival announced the winners for this year’s jury award. My Dead Friend Zoe, directed by Kyle Hausmann Stokes won the Gigantic Pictures Award For Best Feature Narrative, along with the Haskell Wexler Award For Best Cinematography, and an Honorable Mention for the Best Narrative Editing Award.

Directed by Brendan Bellomo and Slava Leontyev, the documentary Porcelain War will open in theaters, on November 22 in New York at the IFC Center, and on November 29 in Los Angeles at Laemmle’s Monica Film Center, followed by a roll out across North America including the SF Bay Area in December.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Woodstock Film Festival will kick off on opening night with Men of War by Billy Corben and Jen Gatien, Blitz directed by Oscar-winning director Steve McQueen will screen as centerpiece film, and A Real Pain directed by Jesse Eisenberg as closing night film.

The 16th Naples International Film Festival (NIFF) running October 24-27, 2024 in Naples, Florida, unveiled the lineup of 58 films (10 narrative features, 12 documentary features and 36 short films) representing 26 countries.

This year’s 55th Nashville Film Festival (NashFilm), taking place from September 19–25, 2024 promises more than 150 films, including 44 feature-length films and more than 33 official selections making their U.S., North American and world premieres.
