The 39th edition of BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival taking place March 19 – 30, 2025, unveiled its full program. BFI Flare is divided into three thematic program strands: Hearts, Bodies and Minds and presents 34 World Premieres (across features and shorts) with 56 features, 1 series and 81 shorts from 41 countries.
All We Imagine as Light emerged victorious at the 22nd International Cinephile Society Awards winning the top prize of best picture along with best director for Payal Kapadia and best ensemble cast.

Jane Schoenbrun’s I saw the TV Glow leads the nominations for the 16th Dorian Film Awards, with nine nods, including Film of the Year, LGBTQ Film of the Year, Screenplay of the Year, and LGBTQ Screenplay of the Year. Schoenbrun also received a nomination in the Director of the Year category.
The Brutalist led the 2024 Minnesota Film Critics Association awards with 5 wins out of 10 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director for Brady Corbet, Best Actor for Adrien Brody and Best Supporting Actor for Guy Pearce.
Wicked lead the nominations for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards with 5 including Female Actor in a Leading Role for Cynthia Erivo and Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Ariana Grande.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the 353 feature films eligible for the 2024 Academy Awards; of which 207 feature films are eligible for consideration in the Best Picture category, which has additional eligibility requirements beyond those for general entry.
