The Substance won 6 awards (of the 7 categories it was nominated for) at the 59th Annual James Loutzenhiser Awards presented by the Kansas City Film Critics Circle (KCFCC) including Best Film, Best Science Fiction/fantasy/horror, Best Director for Coralie Fargeat, Best Actress for Demi Moore in a tie with Mikey Madison – Anora, and Best Supporting Actress for Margaret Qualley.

Neon debuted the trailer for ‘Seeking Mavis Beacon‘ a documentary following the search for Renée L’Esperance, a Haitian model whose appearance was used for a 1987 typing computer program ‘Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing’. The documentary film follows Jazmin Jones and Olivia McKayla Ross (Associate Producer) on their investigation of the mysterious face behind the program.
