From the Ukraine conflict to transgender rights, the 2023 Human Rights Watch Film Festival will present 10 new films from May 31 to June 11, 2023 in New York at Film at Lincoln Center and IFC Center.

The French documentary On the Adamant (Sur l’Adamant) by Nicolas Philibert was awarded the Golden Bear for Best Film at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival. The film profiles The Adamant, a unique floating day-care centre located on the Seine in the heart of Paris, that services adults suffering from mental disorders.

The Human Rights Watch Film Festival, now in its 27th year in London, presents a line-up of 10 award-winning, international documentary films at the Barbican from March 16-24, 2023, and digitally across the UK and Ireland on the festival website from March 20-26, 2023.

Berlinale revealed the films showcased in Perspektive Deutsches Kino, Berlinale Classics and Retrospective programs of the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival.
