Tyler Perry’s The Six Triple Eight walked away with the Outstanding Motion Picture at the 56th NAACP Image Awards. Greg Kwedar’s Sing Sing was named Outstanding Independent Motion Picture.
Anora won Best Picture in the International category at the 25th Vancouver Film Critics Circle awards. In the British Columbia, Canada category, Can I Get a Witness? won Best BC Film, and My Old Ass was named Best Picture.
Greg Kwedar’s Sing Sing won Best Picture at 7th Annual Latino Entertainment Journalists Association Film Awards along with Best Actor for Colman Domingo.
