
Conclave took the top award honors at North Carolina Film Critics Association’s (NCFCA) 13th Annual Best in Cinema Awards winning Best Narrative Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Acting Ensemble Awards.

The Substance leads the films winning top honors at the 23rd Annual Columbus Film Critics Association Awards, taking the top spot on the Best Film list, plus Best Director along with Best Original Screenplay for Coralie Fargeat, and Best Lead Performance for Demi Moore.

BAFTA unveiled the longlists for all 25 categories including Best Film, Director, Documentary, Film Not in the English Language, the performance categories, and a new Children’s & Family Film category, continuing through to Round Two of voting for the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards.

Dune: Part Two was named best film of the year by the Film Critics Association UK along with best director for Denis Villeneuve.

Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist leads the nominations for the 2024 Austin Film Critics Association (AFCA) with 10, including Best Director, Best Picture, Best Score, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and a host of acting categories.

For the first time in the history of the award, two films – Sean Baker’s Anora and Coralie Fargeat’s The Substance tied for the top prize of Best Film at the Online Association of Female Film Critics end of year 2024 awards.

Sing Sing was the big winner at the 2024 Black Film Critics Circle (BFCC) awards, receiving four prizes including Best Film of 2024, Best Actor for Colman Domingo, Supporting Actor for Clarence Maclin and Best Ensemble.

RaMell Ross’ Nickel Boys dominated the nominations for the 25th Black Reel Awards with 13, followed closely by Malcolm Washington’ The Piano Lesson with 12 nominations.

Sean Baker’s Anora and Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist lead the nominations for the 45th London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, each with seven nominations.
