
Indie Memphis Film Festival 2021 announced the full slate of films for this year’s edition set to run as a hybrid of online and in-person screenings and events from October 20th – 25th, 2021.

Tallgrass Film Festival gave a first look at some of the spotlight screenings at this fall’s 19th edition of the festival, opening with Steven Yeun, Beanie Feldstein, and Richard Jenkins in The Humans, Stephen Karam’s adaptation of his Tony Award–winning multi-generational family drama.

From the world-famous Foo Fighters, to Norwegian pop stars, and electronic music’s female pioneers, the Calgary International Film Festival’s Music on Screen films are as diverse as ever. From September 23 to October 3, 2021, the 22nd Annual Festival will connect its audience through the universal language of music.

Metrograph Pictures released the official trailer for Sisters with Transistors, a new feature documentary portraying the iconic women who pioneered electronic music, opening nationwide Friday, April 23 exclusively at Metrograph.com, starting with a live screening and panel discussion at 8pm ET on April 23, followed by a limited on-demand window and a series of special events. A national virtual cinema rollout will follow. The film had its world premiere at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival, won the Next Wave Award at CPH:DOX, and screened at AFI Fest and Sheffield Doc Fest, among many others.

Metrograph Pictures will release Sisters with Transistors, a documentary portrait of the iconic women who pioneered electronic music including Clara Rockmore, Daphne Oram, Wendy Carlos, Pauline Oliveros, and Delia Derbyshire. The film which had its world premiere at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival opens Friday, April 23 exclusively at Metrograph.com for an extended digital engagement. A national virtual cinema rollout will follow.
