The Michigan Movie Critics Guild unveiled its nominees for the best films and performances of 2024 lead by Anora, The Brutalist and Wicked, all tied for the most nominations, with six each. All 3 films received nominations for best picture, acting and directing.

The National Board of Review (NBR) has named their 2024 honorees, with top awards going to Wicked for Best Film; Jon M.
