The Directors Guild of America announced the nominees for the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Feature Film for 2022 and for Outstanding Directorial Achievement of a First-time Theatrical Feature Film for 2022.
The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once lead the nominees for the 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards with each receiving 5 nominations including for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
The Banshees of Inisherin was a big winner at the 2023 Golden Globes Awards winning Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy along with Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Colin Farrell and Best Screenplay for Martin Mcdonagh.

Paul Mescal and newcomer Frankie Corio give astonishing performances as a father and daughter on holiday in Turkey in the late 1990s, in this moving and reflective feature debut. Alice Diop’s Saint Omer came in at 2nd place and Park Chanwook’s DECISION TO LEAVE in 3rd place.
