Returning for its 19th edition from December 4 to 8, the Whistler Film Festival (WFF) will showcase 86 fresh films, comprising of 43 features and 43 shorts from 15 countries.

The 27th Hamptons International Film Festival announced their award winners, with the top prizes going to A WHITE, WHITE DAY, directed by Hlynur Pálmason, won the Award for Best Narrative Feature, and OVERSEAS, directed by Sung-a Yoon, received the Award for Best Documentary Feature. JUST ME AND YOU, directed by Sandrine Brodeur-Desrosiers received the Award for Best Narrative Short Film, and GHOSTS OF SUGAR LAND, directed by Bassam Tariq, won for Best Documentary Short Film. Both Short Films will qualify for Academy® awards consideration.

The Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) unveiled the full slate of films for the 2019 edition, including additional spotlight films – Tom Harper’s THE AERONAUTS, Marc Meyers’ HUMAN CAPITAL, Scott Z. Burns’ gripping post 9/11 drama THE REPORT; François Girard’s THE SONG OF NAMES; and Bruce Springsteen and Thom Zimny’s concert documentary WESTERN STARS.
