Returning for its 19th edition from December 4 to 8, the Whistler Film Festival (WFF) will showcase 86 fresh films, comprising of 43 features and 43 shorts from 15 countries.

When Richard is unexpectedly diagnosed with dementia during preparations for his latest exhibition, Claire is thrown into a crisis— suddenly torn between her husband’s erratic mood swings and the need to shield his illness from both the art community and their family. Struggling to regain control of her life, Claire takes up painting once again, and must decide whether to stay in the shadows or step into the spotlight.

A WHITE, WHITE DAY and OVERSEAS Win Top Awards at 27th Hamptons Film Fest
A WHITE, WHITE DAY, directed by Hlynur Pálmason The 27th Hamptons International Film Festival announced their award winners, with the top prizes going to A WHITE, WHITE DAY, directed by Hlynur Pálmason, won the Award for Best Narrative Feature, and OVERSEAS, directed by Sung-a Yoon, received the Award for Best Documentary Feature. JUST ME AND YOU, directed by Sandrine Brodeur-Desrosiers received the Award for Best Narrative Short Film, and GHOSTS OF SUGAR LAND, directed by Bassam Tariq, won for Best Documentary Short Film. Both Short Films will qualify for Academy® awards consideration.
