The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the 353 feature films eligible for the 2024 Academy Awards; of which 207 feature films are eligible for consideration in the Best Picture category, which has additional eligibility requirements beyond those for general entry.

American Fiction directed by Cord Jefferson and Rustin directed by George C. Wolfe tied for Audience Favorite – US Cinema; with The Taste of Things (La Passion de Dodin Bouffant) directed by Trân Ang Húng winning for World Cinema and Water for Life directed by Will Parrinello took the prize for Audience Favorite – Documentary.
