The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF), which will run February 3rd to February 13th, 2016, announced the line-up for the 31st edition.
Nine features will advance to the next round of voting in the Foreign Language Film category for the 88th Academy Awards®. Eighty films had originally been considered in the category. The 27th Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF), scheduled January 1-11, 2016, announced the films selected to compete for the FIPRESCI Award in the Awards Buzz section.
