Cinematographer Lol Crawley, most recently known for Brady Corbet’s epic post-war drama The Brutalist has been named the recipient of the sixth annual Roby Müller Award at International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR). During IFFR 2025, Crawley will give an IFFR Talk on his work, along with presenting the Dutch premiere of the The Brutalist.

The Palm Springs International Film Awards will honor Adrien Brody with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actor, for his performance in Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist. The Film Awards will take place on January 3, 2025, at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with the festival running January 2-13, 2025.

The 27th SCAD Savannah Film Festival taking place from October 26 to November 2 will screen 162 films, including 123 narrative feature films, 31 documentary feature films, and 69 shorts, with 10 world premieres and six U.S. premieres.
The 11th Miami Film Festival GEMS set to take place from October 30 to November 3, 2024, will feature 30 films from over 15 countries, kicking off with The Room Next Door, including three Centerpiece screenings of Emilia Pérez, Maria, and The Brutalist, and wrapping up with A Real Pain.

In total, there are 278 films on the slate for this year’s Festival.
32 films including titles from Pedro Almodóvar, Sean Baker, David Cronenberg, Mati Diop, Mike Leigh, Steve McQueen, Paul Schrader, and Athina Rachel Tsangari are featured in the Main Slate of the 62nd New York Film Festival (NYFF), taking place September 27–October 14, 2024.
