The 2022 Hamptons International Festival (HIFF) unveiled the full slate of films including the Closing Night presentation of the New York premiere of SR., directed by Chris Smith, and the Centerpiece screening of Sarah Polley’s Women Talking. The 30th edition of the festival will feature a lineup of films that are 54% female-directed and represent 34 countries from around the world.
Mark Fletcher’s Patrick and the Whale opens and Kathlyn Horan’s The Return of Tanya Tucker – Featuring Brandi Carlile will close the 31st Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival taking place October 7-15 at the Arlington Hotel & Spa. Ben Klein and Violet Columbus’ The Exiles and Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes will screen as the Centerpiece Selections.
Tribeca Film Festival announced the Audience Award winners for the 21st annual Festival, with Ellie Foumbi’s feature directorial debut, Our Father, The Devil winning for Best Narrative Feature, and The Cave of Adullam winning for Best Documentary.
Good Girl Jane, January (Janvaris), and The Cave of Adullam took the top prizes at the 21st annual Tribeca Festival. The Founders Award for Best U.S. Narrative Feature went to Good Girl Jane by Sarah Elizabeth Mintz; Best International Narrative Feature went to January (Janvaris) by Viesturs Kairiss and Best Documentary Feature went to The Cave of Adullam by Laura Checkoway.
The 2022 Tribeca Festival, set to run from June 8-19, announced its lineup of feature and short narrative, documentary, and animated films. The festival will showcase 111 feature films and 16 online premieres from 151 filmmakers across 40 countries.
