Nelson Tracey’s drama Breakup Season. Shea Whigham and Carrie Coon attempt to escape mobsters in Lake George. Magnus von Horn’s period drama captures post-WW1 Copenhagen in The Girl With the Needle. Lillah Halla’s Power Alley follows a teenage volleyball player and her struggle for women’s rights in Brazil. Ralph Fiennes is Odysseus in Uberto Pasolini’s The Return. Joshua Oppenheimer’s apocalyptic musical The End stars Tilda Swinton and Michael Shannon, and documentary Sabbath Queen follows the story of a gay rabbi.

After a 10-year hiatus from filmmaking, Oscar-nominated director Joshua Oppenheimer (The Act of Killing, The Look of Silence) returns with his first narrative feature film, The End. The film follows the story of a family living in a bunker in a post-apocalyptic world.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Woodstock Film Festival will kick off on opening night with Men of War by Billy Corben and Jen Gatien, Blitz directed by Oscar-winning director Steve McQueen will screen as centerpiece film, and A Real Pain directed by Jesse Eisenberg as closing night film.
