Ten new films including the latest works by Casey Affleck, Robert Eggers, Hirokazu Koreeda, Pablo Larraín, Céline Sciamma, Makoto Shinkai and Steven Soderbergh, will be featured in the Perlak section at the 67th edition of the San Sebastian Festival. Furthermore, The Climb, a comedy directed by Michael Angelo Covino, will close the section out of competition.
A24 delivers again, dropping the first official trailer for THE LIGHTHOUSE , a nautical psychodrama from Robert Eggers, the acclaimed director of The Witch. Starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson “The Lighthouse,” which had its world premiere at 2019 Cannes Film Festival, will open in theaters on October 18.

This first batch of films from the 2019 Official Selection features 18 Galas and 38 Special Presentations.
The lineup of feature films and short films was revealed this morning for the 51st Directors’ Fortnight which takes place May 15 to 25, 2019, running alongside the Cannes Film Festival. Directors’ Fortnight 2019 will open with the World Premiere of Deerskin (Le Daim) directed by Quentin Dupieux, and close with the World Premiere of Yves directed by Benoît Forgeard.
