The Power of the Dog won the top prize of Best Picture at the 2nd Minnesota Film Critics Alliance awards along with Best Director and Best Screenplay for Jane Campion.

The Latino Entertainment Journalists Association (LEJA) announced the winners of the 4th Annual Latino Entertainment Film Awards, awarding The Power of the Dog the honors of Best Picture, along with Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay for Jane Campion.

The Online Film & Television Association awarded The Power of the Dog the honor of Best Picture of 2021, along with honors for Director for Jane Campion, Actor for Benedict Cumberbatch, Supporting Actor for Kodi Smit-McPhee, along with Adapted Screenplay, and Casting.

The Power of the Dog was the big winner at the 42nd annual London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, winning four major awards including the Film of the Year, while Campion herself was named Director of the Year. The film’s stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Kodi Smit-McPhee won Actor and Supporting Actor of the Year. It is Campion’s second film to take the Circle’s top honor, 28 years after The Piano triumphed in 1994.

Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog walked away with three wins, including Best Film, Best Lead Actor in Film for Benedict Cumberbatch, and Best Supporting Actor in Film for Australian actor Kodi Smit-Mcphee at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts 11th AACTA International Awards.

The Alliance of Women Film Journalists announced the winners of the 2021 AWFJ EDA Awards with The Power of the Dog winning most of the major awards including Best Film, Best Director for Jane Campion, Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Kirsten Dunst, Best Actor for Benedict Cumberbatch, Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Kodi Smit-McFee and Best Ensemble Cast.

The Power of the Dog came out on top at the 2022 Music City Film Critics’ Association (MCFCA) Film Awards with four awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Screenplay. Dune comes away with the second-most awards with three, including Best Score, Best Sound, and Best Production Design.
