The Savannah College of Art and Design hosts this year’s 25th anniversary edition of SCAD Savannah Film Festival in person, October 22–29, 2022. The SCAD Savannah Film Festival will screen 143 films, including 53 narrative feature films, 20 documentary feature films, and 79 shorts, with eight world premieres and six U.S. premieres.

The 2022 Hamptons International Festival (HIFF) unveiled the full slate of films including the Closing Night presentation of the New York premiere of SR., directed by Chris Smith, and the Centerpiece screening of Sarah Polley’s Women Talking. The 30th edition of the festival will feature a lineup of films that are 54% female-directed and represent 34 countries from around the world.

The 8th Annual Mammoth Lakes Film Festival (MLFF) announced this year’s juried and audience award winners with the top awards from the jury going to “The Civil Dead,” directed by Clay Tatum, written by Clay Tatum and Whitmer Thomas, for Best North American Narrative Feature; and “Tel Aviv,” directed and written by Marat Parkhomovsky, for Best International Narrative Feature.
