Emily directed by Frances O’Connor Toronto International Film Festival unveiled the 10 feature films that comprise the 2022 Platform program that champions bold directorial visions. Emily, the feature debut by Frances O’Connor, has been selected as the program’s opening film, and — like all 10 films in the program — is a World Premiere. This year’s selection also includes two Canadian titles: Riceboy Sleeps and Viking.

13 Films to Compete for New Directors Award at 70th San Sebastian Festival
Miyamatsu to Yamashita / Roleless by Masahiko Sato, Yutaro Seki and Kentaro Hirase Thirteen film from fifteen countries will compete for the Kutxabank-New Directors Award at the 70th edition of San Sebastian Festival, which runs from September 16 to 24, 2022. Of the total selected movies, twelve are first works and one is the second film by its director.
