
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has revealed the feature films eligible for consideration in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature Film and International Feature Film categories for the 97th Academy Awards.

From a gripping Irish portrait of deep-rooted generational rivalry to a stop-motion animated tale of self-discovery; a moving portrait of living with deaf parents in Tokyo to a follow up feature from one of Zambia’s most distinctive voices, 11 international films have been selected for Official Competition at the 68th BFI London Film Festival and contend for the Best Film Award.

SXSW Film Festival announced the full program for the 28th edition of the festival which this year will take place online. The festival will open with Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil with Tom Petty, Somewhere You Feel Free as Centerpiece Film and Alone Together, a documentary on popstar Charli XCX, in quarantine will World Premiere as the Closing Night Film.
