This past Sunday evening, the awards for the online edition of exground filmfest 33 were presented in Wiesbaden, Germany. In the German Short Film Competition, the audience chose “keep shiftin'”by Verena Wagner as the winning film and in the International Short Film Competition, the jury chose the Mexican film Nightcrawlers (Noctámbulos) by Arturo Baltazar as the winning film.
Berln Film Festival announced the prize winners of the section Perspektive Deutsches Kino, with the Compass-Perspektive-Award for the best film going to Janna Ji Wonders for the film Walchensee Forever. The prize is endowed with 5,000 Euros, and as a trophy, the director received a real compass, which is intended to serve as symbolic orientation and show her the direction to take going into the future.
The 70th Berlin Film Festival is fast approaching and sections – Perspektive Deutsches Kino, Panorama, Generation, Forum Expanded announced the first films and projects.
