Georgian filmmaker Levan Koguashvili’s tender family tragicomedy, Brighton 4th will world premiere at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, running June 9-20. Shot by Oscar-nominated DP Phedon Papamichael (Nebraska, The Trial of the Chicago 7) and set within the Georgian emigré community of Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, the film is featured in the festival’s International Narrative Competition.

Netflix released the trailer for the documentary Sisters on Track, an intimate portrait of girlhood following three determined sisters in Brooklyn. Directed by Corinne van der Borch and Tone Grøttjord-Glenne, the film premieres at Tribeca Film Festival and debuts on the streaming platform on June 24, 2021.

1091 Pictures will release the thriller film RUNT that tells the story of a group of neglected and misguided high-school seniors who are pulled into a downward cycle of violence as all of the adults in their lives fail to be engaged or helpful when needed. RUNT, the directorial debut of William Coakley, will be released in theaters and on digital platforms this fall.
