Mindy Kaling in Late Night Amazon Studios released the trailer for Late Night directed by Nisha Ganatra (Chutney Popcorn, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) from a screenplay by Mindy Kaling (“The Mindy Project,” “The Office”). The Seattle International Film Festival announced today the complete lineup and as part of this year’s celebration of women in comedy, the Festival will celebrate the work of Regina Hall by presenting her with the Seattle International Film Festival Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinema. RIP: Director John Singleton Dead at 51
John Singleton John Singleton, the Oscar nominated film director, screenwriter and producer died Monday April 29 in Los Angeles after suffering a stroke on April 17, 2019. Earlier today, Singleton’s family announced he was removed from life support. He was 51.
