Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite took the top awards at the Chicago Film Critics Association (CFCA) 2019 annual awards – winning both Best Picture and Best Foreign Language Film; the film also claims Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.
Other winners include Apollo 11 for Best Documentary, filmmaker Lulu Wang (The Farewell) received the CFCA’s Milos Stehlik Breakthrough Filmmaker Award, and Aisling Franciosi (The Nightingale) was named Most Promising Performer.
