The Beast took the top prizes at the Florida Film Critics Circle 2024 awards, winning Best Picture in addition to Best Director for Bertrand Bonello and Best Actress for Léa Seydoux.
Other performance awards including Best Actor went to Kieran Culkin for A Real Pain; Best Supporting Actor went to Jeremy Strong for The Apprentice, Best Supporting Actress went to Zoe Saldaña for Emilia Pérez; and Best Ensemble went to the cast of Conclave.
Top film honors went to Hundreds of Beavers for Best First Feature, Flow won Best Animated Film, Best International Film Winner went to All We Imagine As Light, and Best Documentary went to Soundtrack to a Coup d’Etat.
The Golden Orange awarded to outstanding contributions to film by a Floridian, went to Monica Sorelle’s Mountains, a Miami-based feature that paints a loving and critical portrait of what it’s like to live there.
