Kevin Costner’s epic Western film Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2 will finally makes its U.S premiere on February 7th at the 40th Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF). The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director, writer, producer, and actor Kevin Costner. A FREE screening of Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 will precede the premiere.
There will also be a bonus inclusion of the behind-the-scenes documentary Beyond the Horizon on February 13th, which will be followed by a Q&A with Costner and Beyond the Horizon director Mark Gillard.
The film had its world premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival and is scheduled to be released in 2025.
Returning to star in Chapter 2 are Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Giovanni Ribisi, Ella Hunt, Will Patton, Luke Wilson, Isabelle Fuhrman, Thomas HadenChurch, Glynn Turman, and Kathleen Quinlan.
Chapter 1 followed several characters navigating life in the Midwestern territories amid the American Civil War and Chapter 2 is the continuation of the story, following the further adventures of the characters.
