Prime Video debuted the official trailer for John Candy: I Like Me, a moving documentary directed by Colin Hanks and produced by Ryan Reynolds, of the life, career, and loss of the beloved actor.
The film features rare behind-the-scenes home videos, personal accounts from Candy’s children (Jennifer and Christopher), and heartfelt interviews with longtime collaborators like Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Tom Hanks, and Catherine O’Hara. The extended lineup includes Macaulay Culkin, Martin Short, Mel Brooks, and more, painting a portrait of Candy that’s equal parts hilarious and tender.
John Candy: I Like Me had its world premiere as the Opening Night film at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and will be available worldwide on Prime Video starting October 10, 2025.
