‘One Battle After Another’ ‘Twinless’ Lead San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle Awards

San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle Awards 2025 Winners

One Battle After Another leads the San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle (SFBAFCC) 2025 Awards for Achievement in Film, claiming the top prize for Best Picture, along with Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson.

In the acting categories, Ethan Hawke received Best Actor honors for his performance in Blue Moon; and Best Actress went to Rose Byrne for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

The documentary category saw Orwell: 2+2=5 named Best Documentary Feature and It Was Just an Accident earned Best International Feature Film, continuing its strong showing with critics groups.

SFBAFCC also awarded a Special Citation for Independent Cinema to James Sweeney’s Twinless.
