‘Sinners’ Tops San Diego Film Critics Society Award Winners, Takes Best Picture

Sinners topped the 2025 San Diego Film Critics Society end of year Awards winning Best Picture, Best Director for Ryan Coogler and Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan.

Other performance awards including Best Actress was shared between Jessie Buckley for Hamnet and Rose Byrne for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, and Stellan Skarsgård won Best Supporting Actor for Sentimental Value.

Eva Victor (again) won Best First Feature, Director for Sorry, Baby; Orwell: 2 + 2 = 5 won Best Documentary and It Was Just an Accident won Best Foreign Language Film.
