One Battle After Another claimed the 2025 Portland Critics Association Awards highest honor, winning Best Picture, along with a Best Director win for Paul Thomas Anderson.
The film also received the award for Best Ensemble Cast.
The organization recognized multiple lead performances in 2025, awarding Best Lead Performance to three actors whose work defined the year. Jessie Buckley was honored for her powerful turn in Hamnet, Rose Byrne received recognition for her performance in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, and Timothée Chalamet also earned a Best Lead Performance award for Marty Supreme.
In the supporting categories, the association again opted to honor multiple winners. Delroy Lindo and Wunmi Mosaku both received Best Supporting Performance awards for their work in Sinners; and Amy Madigan was also recognized in this category for her performance in Weapons.
In film genre awards, Predator: Killer of Killers was named Best Animated Feature; Sinners earned the award for Best Horror Feature; Bugonia took home Best Science Fiction Feature; Eephus was honored as Best Comedy Feature; Orwell: 2+2=5 won Best Documentary Feature, and the award for Best Film Not in the English Language went to No Other Choice.
