At the Astra Film Awards held over the weekend, Sinners emerged as the night’s most celebrated title, winning six awards and claiming Best Motion Picture Drama.

Ryan Coogler received wins for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, while Michael B. Jordan received Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama. Completing its strong showing, Sinners was honored with Best Cast Ensemble, and Best Original Score for Ludwig Göransson’s acclaimed musical composition.

In the comedy and musical categories, One Battle After Another took home Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical, plus Best Adapted Screenplay for Paul Thomas Anderson.

Timothée Chalamet received Best Actor in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for Marty Supreme, and Amanda Seyfried was honored as Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for The Testament of Ann Lee.

In other acting awards, Best Young Performer went to Jacobi Jupe for Hamnet, Jessie Buckley won Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for Hamnet, Stellan Skarsgård earned Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for Sentimental Value, and Amy Madigan was named Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for Weapons. In comedy and musical supporting roles, Adam Sandler won for Jay Kelly, and Ariana Grande was recognized for her performance in Wicked: For Good.

Other major film awards went to Twinless for Best Indie Feature, Best Documentary went to The Perfect Neighbor, Best International Feature went to Sentimental Value, and Best First Feature for Sorry, Baby.

Also honored at the ceremony were Mark Hamill, who received the Excellence in Artistry Award, Elle Fanning received the Vanguard Award, Zoey Deutch received Virtuoso Award, Wicked and Wicked: For Good editor Myron Kerstein received the Artisan Achievement Award.
