‘One Battle After Another’ and ‘Sinners ‘Top Online Film Critics Society Awards

2025 Online Film Critics Society Awards Winners
One Battle After Another, Sinners (Warner Bros)

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another took the top prize of Best Picture at the Online Film Critics Society awards, along with Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Editing.

Ryan Coogler’s Sinners lead overall with 10 award wins, including Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Score, and more.

In addition to the top film honors, this year’s Special Achievement Award recipients are Green Film for developing and certifying sustainability criteria to be adopted to reduce the environmental impact of an audiovisual production to a minimum but without slowing down the cast and crew’s work and Film Workers for Palestine for drawing attention to the ethical compromises being made within the film industry and fighting for organizations to support Palestine and acknowledge the current genocide.

Earning Lifetime Achievement Award recognition are industry titans Colleen Atwood, Jack Nicholson, Steven Spielberg, Vittorio Storaro and Walter Murch. The OFCS also recognized a slate of ten international films as the best releases outside the U.S. in 2025.
