
The documentary Travis Barker: Loud Than Fear will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival.
Directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer, it offers a portrait of Barker’s life and career, including his survival of a plane crash that nearly killed him and his rise from working as a trash collector in Laguna Beach to becoming the drummer for Blink-182.
According to the film’s description, the project explores Barker’s personal struggles with pain, grief and survival alongside his success as a musician and producer. It also features appearances from collaborators and people close to him.
The film will premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 14 in New York City, followed by a post-screening conversation with musician Travis Barker.
Following the premiere, it will debut on August 13 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the United States, with an international release on Disney+.
The film is produced by Matthew Weaver and Nick Stern. Executive producers include Lawrence Vavra and John Janick. It is produced by Media Weaver Entertainment.
