Here is the official trailer for Fiesta Pagäna by Álvaro Brechner, a Spanish musical drama inspired by the story of Mägo de Oz, one of Spain’s most influential rock bands.
The film stars Adrián Lastra, as Txus di Fellatio, the band’s founder and drummer, and Adrià Mondaray, as José Andrëa, the vocalist of Mägo de Oz’s golden era.
The ensemble cast also includes Jorge López, Carlos Librado ‘Nene’, Guillermo Furiase, Luis Bondia, José Sospedra, Jon Arias, Marc Parejo, Michelle Renaud, Roberto Álamo, Antonio Dechent, Eduardo Velasco, Neus Sanz, and Felipe García Vélez.
Fiesta Pagäna is coming to theaters in 2026, but does not yet have a confirmed release date.

In the late 1980s, a group of working-class young friends decides to break every rule and chase what seems like an impossible dream: blending the power of heavy metal with the magic of Celtic folk. What begins as the adventure of a group of friends soon becomes a phenomenon that revolutionizes Spanish rock and changes their lives forever.
In an interview with Variety, Brechner said “It’s about a group of people who have a dream which becomes reality, meaning they’re on the point of losing everything and have to reinvent themselves. It asks how you go on when you achieve a dream, even if it means losing everything. How do you keep the essence of who you are? Any band that’s successful opens the door to excess, self-destruction. Often our dreams’ biggest enemy is ourselves.”
Fiesta Pagäna is directed by Álvaro Brechner from a screenplay by Sofía Cuenca and Brechner. Patricia González produces for Eterno Island Pictures, with Pedro Díaz ‘Peri’, former bassist of Mägo de Oz, serving as executive producer.
