Neon is set to release The Wrong Girls in theaters across the United States on August 14, 2026.
According to the official synopsis, “Two codependent best friends living paycheck to paycheck and bong rip to bong rip get caught in a case of mistaken identity that throws their lives into chaos.” The story centers on Frankie (Kristen Stewart) and Molly (Alia Shawkat), whose lives take a dramatic turn after they become entangled in a bizarre chain of events involving experimental psychedelics and dangerous pursuers. What begins as an accidental mix-up soon escalates into a surreal adventure filled with unexpected twists and increasingly strange encounters.
